By Car
From the airport "Wien-Schwechat", take the A4 towards Vienna. Follow the ''Zentrum'' (city centre) sign. Leave the motorway into Schuttel Street and follow this road which becomes ''Unteren'' (lower) and then ''Oberen (upper)Donau'' street. Keep left as you have to make a left turn at the fork over the bridge. Follow this road until you reach the Votiv church on your right. Move over to the right as you will have to turn right at the next intersection after the church. Stay in the right hand lane as you will have to turn right after the "Sankt-Anna Kinder Spittal'' (hospital). Keep left and turn left at the next road: go under the S-Bahn bridge and you will find Thüringerhof on your right.
From west motorway: drive along this motorway until you have drived through the subway to Schönbrunn Palace. Turn left and drive to the second traffic light where you turn right into Mariahilfer street and continue until you reach the Westbahnhof (railway station) (Europaplatz). Turn left into the Gürtel (the outer ring) and continue straight until you see a big church on your right. Turn left at the third traffic light after having passed the church (at the underground - Alser Strasse): there is also a Holland flower market: you are now in Jörger Street and you will see the hotel in the first block on your right.
From south motorway: drive until you see the sign for Zentrum/Gürtel. There you leave the motorway: you will be in Triester Street. Drive along this road, keeping the right until you see the sign for Prag (Prague). Follow the Prag signs until the Gürtel (outer ring). The Gürtel connects the southern motorway with the northern motorway. Keep going straight until you get the Europaplatz and Westbahnhof. Continue straight until you see a big church on your right. Turn left at the third traffic light after having passed the church. Then as above.
By Plane
Coming from Vienna airport, take the CAT service to Wien Mitte. Then, take the metro line U3, direction Ottakring and change at Westbahnhof. From there take the metro line U6, direction Floridsdorf and get off at Alser Strasse. Take the exit to Jörgerstrasse: cross the main street and go straight on until you find the hotel on your right.
If you prefer you can take the bus service to Westbahnhof and then as above by metro.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Westbahnhof. From there, you can easily reach the hotel as above, by metro. |
