By train:
Coming from train station south (from Graz, Klagenfurt or Italy): take the bus 13A until Lederergasse-Theater in der Josefstadt. Next to the theatre you find our hotel on the left side.
Coming from train station west (from Salzburg, Linz or Germany): take underground U3 direction "Simmering". At the station "Volkstheater" change to underground U2 direction "Schottenring": get off at the station "Rathaus". Walk two blocks up Josefstädter Straße to the hotel.
Coming from the center/state opera: by tram J direction "Ottakring" to station "Theater in der Josefstadt".
By plane:
Coming from Vienna airport, you can take a taxi direct to the hotel.
With train CAT (City Air Train) or S7 to the City Air Terminal. There change to underground U3 direction "Ottakring" to "Volkstheater". Change to U2 direction "Schottenring" and get off at station "Rathaus". Walk two blocks up Josefstädterstraße to the hotel.
By car:
If you come from highway west, A1: exit at Wien-Auhof going directly into Rechte Wienzeile. Keep straight until you pass Schloß Schönbrunn. Drive direction Zentrum/City until you reach the Ringstrasse. After the parliament you turn left into Stadiongasse. After the third traffic light you will find our hotel on the right handed side on Josefstädterstraße number 22 next to the "Theater in der Josefstadt".
From highway south, A2: drive to the south-east highway A23: from there you take the exit Landstrasse. You will come directly to Landstrasser Gürtel. There you pass the train station south, also the train station west. The best is to drive always direction Prag/Brno. After the train station west, about 2,8 km, you reach Lerchenfelder Gürtel. Following this street you get directly to Josefstädterstraße (at the corner is a "Libro" bookstore). After the third traffic light, next to the "Theater in der Josefstadt" you will find our hotel. (attention: to cross the street to the left side to the hotel is not allowed.) |
