Coming by Plane:
Please use the CAT ( € 9,--). Then get to station "Landstraße Wien-Mitte", there get in to the underground U3 U(orange) direction Ottakring, please get out on the last station Ottakring. Directions U3 - Hotel Schwalbe. Our hotel is within 2 min. walking-distance from the U3-stop Ottakring, which is the last stop of that underground line. Colour-code: orange. Leave the station heading towards the exit "Thaliastraße" (main road, where the tram lines run through), go straight ahead past the "Hervis" sports shop; turn into "Paltaufgasse" , then walk straight ahead again until you reach "Ottakringer Straße", walk through the big entrance, cross "Arnethgasse" and walk straight ahead, on the left hand side you will see a little park, then you will get to Degengasse, please turn right our house is Degengasse 45.
If you rent a car at Wien-Schwechat airport you can reach us taking A4 motorway in direction A4 "Wien, Graz, Linz". Gateway Vienna (Urania on the right hand side), continue straight ahead towards Obere Donaustraße. You will find Rossauer Brücke (bridge) on the left, cross it and continue straight ahead into Hörlgasse. After the Votivkirche (church) turn right, continue straight ahead (following the street sale and the tram-line) and drive along Universitätsstraße-Kinderspitalgasse-Lazarettgasse- Jörgerstraße-Hernalser Hauptstraße. Turn left into Wattgasse drive straight ahead Wattgasse (following the street sale), turn right into Wilhelminenstraße (2nd traffic lights crossing). Straight ahead again, turn left at the 5th crossing Lienfeldergasse. Turn left onto Dedengasse and you will find us at number 45.
Coming by Train:
From Südbahnhof: Take the tram in direction Südtiroler/Platz and get off at this station. Take the underground line "U1" (red) in direction Kagran. Change at Stephansplatz, get on the underground "U3" (orange) towards "Ottakring". Get off at the last stop, Ottakring. Once there you can reach our hotel in 2 min. walking distance: leave the station heading towards the exit "Thaliastrasse" (main road). Go straight on past the "Hervis" sport shop, take Paltaufgasse, walk straight ahead until you reach Ottakringer Strasse. Walk through the big entrance, cross Arnethgasse and walk straight ahead. You will see a little park on your left hand-side and then Degengasse. Hotel Schwalbe is at number 45.

Coming by Car from Carinthia/Italy:
A1 Südautobahn, gateway Altmannsdorf, straight ahead Altmanndorferstrasse / Grünbergstrasse. Continue straight ahead on Winckelmannstrasse and then turn left at the Technical Museum onto Linzer Strasse. Drive under the railway bridge and continue straight ahead towards Johnstrasse. Proceed on this street and then on Possingergasse/Wattgasse. Turn right onto Ottakringer Strasse, drive straight ahead and then turn right onto Redtenbachergasse. Drive for few metres and then turn left onto Degengasse. We are at number 45. Free off-street parking or private garage (extra cost) available.
Coming by Car from Salzburg/Linz:
A1 gateway Auhof, take Hadikgasse and drive straight on up to Schönbrunn Castle. Turn left onto Schlossallee. Drive straight on along Johnstrasse / Possingergasse / Wattgasse. Turn left onto Ottakringer Strasse, drive straight on and then turn right onto Redtenbachergasse. After few metres turn left onto Degengasse. We are at number 45.
