Upon arrival our room was ready and as we were tired from the long trip from the USA that was wonderful. We were pleased with the room and found the hotel to be comfortable and very pleasant.

Not only was the Hotel Savoy a comfortable cozy hotel, its location is ideal for a visit to Vienna. It is a short walk to the underground transit and a block from a major shopping street. We were a block a way from the Spittelberg Christmas market and good restaurants.

Check out was quick and professional. We paid the amount quoted to us when we made reservations.

We have nothing negative to say about Hotel Savoy. All the staff were personable from the breakfast workers to the housekeepers to the desk personnel. It was a wonderful experience and it added to the ambiance of a truly beautiful city. The tray of gingerbread cookies at the front desk was a nice touch too.

Definitely the Hotel Savoy would be a great place to stay in Vienna. Its proximity to everything made traveling within the city a breeze. Another important fact is that we walked from St. Stephens back to the Savoy after a midnight concert in the church and the staff told us it would be perfectly safe to do so. Despite the devalued dollar, we felt satisfied with the price of this charming hotel.

Staff friendly, professional. My wife loved the decor in the room. Great value for the money. Instructions were excellent as how to use public transportation to find. Great location, within walking distance to district 1.

We were made extreamly welcome by the receptionist on duty he was helpful, courteous and greeted us with a smile, all of which gave us the confidence that we had chosen the right hotel.

When setting up our reservation online, we informed the hotel that we were on our honeymoon. When we arrived in our room, there was a chilled bottle of wine. What a nice touch! Thank you!
