 The hotel is well situated in the heart of Vienna. Most of the city's sights you can reach walking. For example: the walk to the well-known St. Stephans Cathedral takes about 5 minutes. For sights further away you can take the underground. The closest station for the U1 and U4 is just 2 minutes downhill the Laurenzerberg, on Schwedenplatz. On Stephansplatz you have the U1 and the U3 stations. |

Coming by Plane:
From Vienna International Airport (Schwechat) take the Vienna Airport line up to Schwedenplatz. Once there take Rotenturm Strasse up to Fleischmarkt Strasse, then turn left, walk for few metres and you will find the hotel at number 24. Otherwise you can take the "Cat" train up to Wien Mitte/Landstrasse station and then U in direction Heiligenstadt up to "Schwedenplatz" stop. Coming by Train:
Guests who arrive at one of the big railway stations (Südbahnhof or Westbahnhof) can use the underground (U1 from Südbahnhof to Schwedenplatz, and U3 from Westbahnhof to Stephansplatz, then follow the instructions above). With much luggage the easiest way to go is to take a taxi.
Coming by Car:
Any direction you come from you have to get to the "Ring", which is a circle street surrounding the first district. You drive along the Ring until "Franz-Josefs-Kai", keep right and at the first traffic lights turn right to the Salztorgasse. Drive along the Salztorgasse until you reach Hohen Markt, then turn left, drive straight away until the Rotenturmstrasse and then turn left again. At the Fleischmarkt turn right and you will find the hotel at number 24. If you arrive by car please note, that the whole inner city is a short-parking-zone (from Monday to Friday between 9.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.). Parking time is 1 1/2 hours against a fee (you need to buy tickets in a newspaper/cigarette shop). We can offer cost-effective garage parking to our guests. Please let us know on reservation if you need a garage place. |
