Pension Residenz is located in the very heart of Vienna's city centre in the University district.
Not far from the pension is the internationally known "MuseumsQuartier", one of the ten largest cultural quarters in the world. Its favourable location, right next to the old city in the former imperial stables, combines institutions of different art fields, restaurants, cafés and shops in a post-modern ambiance, a combination of baroque buildings and modern architecture. Among the most interesting Museums to see are the "Museum of Modern Art" and the Kunsthalle where all the latest trends and tendencies in art are exhibited.

How To Reach Us
 
By Public transportation:
If you are using the public transport from Westbahnhof please take underground line U3 until Volkstheater stop, then change to line U2 in the direction of "Schotten Ring" and get off at "Schottentor Universität". Our pension is in Ebendorferstrasse 10, at 10 minutes' walk from the station.
From Volkstheater stop you can also take the tram line D up to the station Rathhausplatz / Burgtheater.  If you are coming from Südbahnhof the best way to arrive to our pension is to take tram line D and stop at Rathausplatz / Burgtheater.
