Coming by Plane:
From Schwechat airport please take the railway or the CAT-Train and get off at Landstrasse Wien-Mitte station. From there take subway U3 direction Ottakring and get off at station Zieglergasse. Take Zieglergasse and you will find us at number 18/1. Otherwise you can reach us by shuttle bus.
Every half an hour there goes a bus (Vienna airport lines) directly to the city or to the train-station (Westbahnhof). You get off at Westbahnhof and walk to Zieglergasse or you take U3 one station to Zieglergasse. Once there take Zieglergasse and you will find us at number 18/1.
Coming by Train:
Vienna has two big railway stations, the West and the East. The west-train station (Westbahnhof) is 10 minutes on foot or 5 min by subway far from us. Take the subway U3 (direction Simmering) and get off at Zieglergasse. Our house is about 3 minutes walking distance to the station (take Zieglergasse and you will find us at number 18/1). Otherwise take Mariahilfer Strasse on foot and you will find our street after 10 min. walking distance on the left hand side. Arriving from the south-train station (Südbahnhof) is easy by public transport or by taxi. Take bus 13 A and get off at Neubaugasse. Then walk about 7 minutes to Zieglergasse or take the subway U3 (direction Ottakring) up to Zieglergasse station. If you use the railways (S1, S3 or S15) please get off at Landstrasse-Wien Mitte and take again the subway U3.
Coming by Car:
Please consider that the Zieglergasse is a one-way-street. The drive leading up to the house is possible from the Mariahilfer Strasse or the Apollogasse.
1. Coming from the west-motorway A1: leave Vienna centre (Wien Zentrum): drive down the street Hietzinger Kai - go straight ahead, you reach Schönbrunner Straße - after some minutes you reach Margareten Gürtel - turn left and drive down Mariahilfer Gürtel - until reaching Mariahilfer Straße - turn right then, the third street left is Zieglergasse (on the left hand side).
On the right hand side of this street at number 18 you will find Pension Anna
2. Coming from the south-motorway A2 direction Vienna centre (Wien Zentrum) - straight ahead on to Triester Strasse until you reach Matzleinsdorfer Platz. Turn left into Margaretengürtel. How to go on see point 1.
3. Coming from the east-motorway A4 direction Vienna: Take the motorway called Südosttangente (A23) direction "Gürtel", drive off Gürtel/Südbahnhof, continue straight ahead driving on Landstrasser Gürtel, Wiedner Gürtel, Margaretengürtel. How to go on see point 1. |
