Coming by Plane
Aiportbus (Flughafenbus) to Schwedenplatz, get on tram 2 there and get off at stop Börse station, cross
the Schottenring and then and walk up Wipplingerstraße. Pension Lerner is on the right side of Wipplingerstraße at number 23.
CAT train or local train S7 from the airport to Wien Mitte station, then underground U3 direction Ottakring up to Stephansplatz (use exit "Stephansplatz" to leave the station, you will find the stop for bus 1A on the left of the cathedral, it will get you to Pension Lerner. Get off at stop "Renngasse" and you will find Wipplingerstraße on the right hand side. The Pension is at number 23.
Pick up service from the airport can be organised upon request.
Coming by Car
From Westautobahn A1 drive in direction Vienna take exit "Zentrum"(city center), follow in direction city center, then Opernring-Ringstraße up to Schottenring. Once here turn right to Schottengasse, pass Freyung, Am Hof and then go through Färbergasse. Turn left anf you will find Wipplingerstraße. The Pension is at number 23.
From Südautobahn A2 drive in direction Vienna take exit "Zentrum" (city center ), follow in direction city center, then Opernring-Ringstraße up to Schottenring. Once here turn right to Schottengasse, pass Freyung, Am Hof and then go through Färbergasse. Turn left anf you will find Wipplingerstraße. The Pension is at number 23.
From Ostautobahn A4 drive in direction Vienna take exit "Zentrum" (city-center ) following signs for the city center driving along the Danube Channel ("Donaukanal") up to Salztorbrücke, cross the river, then go through Vorlaufstraße to Marc Aurelstraße and turn right onto Wipplingerstraße. The Pension is at number 23.
Parking your car
Since we do not dispose of a private parking, you have to park your car in the street, but there is nearly always enough space available in the area arround the Pension and it is safe as long as you do not leave any values in your car.
From Monday to Friday, from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p. m. parking is liable to a daily parking fee. Please ask for a parking licence at our reception.
Coming by Train
From Westbahnhof: Take underground U3 (direction Simmering) to Stephansplatz- use exit Stephansplatz to leave the station, you will find the stop for bus 1A on the left of the cathedral up to "Renngasse" stop. You will find Wipplingerstraße on the right hand side. The Pension is at number 23.
You could also go to take U3 subway in direction Simmering up to Herrengasse. Leave the station by exit "Herrengasse", then walk on foot crossing "Haarhof", "Am Hof", through "Färbergasse" to Wipplingerstraße. The Pension is at number 23.
From Südbahnhof: Take tram D to stop Börse station, you will find Wipplingerstraße behind you. Take this street and walk up to number 23. |
