Very quick and efficient considering that we checked in quite early in the morning after arriving in Vienna on the overnight Orient Express.

All members of staff were polite and helpful,especially in giving us directions and helping us find the easiest walking routes to theatres,galleries etc.

Taxi ordered and arrived promptly to take us back to Westbahnhof for the train.

The hotel seems to be popular with musicians performing in the city.A young American introduced himself to us at breakfast and asked if we had been to any concerts.On telling him that we had been at the Opera House to see 'Faust'he went on to say that he thought it had been excellent and that he was singing a major part in 'The Barber of Seville' on the following evening.It was intersting to listen to a professional singer talking about the production.

Wonderful location from where you can walk safely to almost anything you are likely to want to see in Vienna during a short stay in the city.Despite being in the centre of Vienna so close to theatres,and shopping areas it was amazingly quiet.A very relaxing place to return after a tiring day.

Comfortable and well situated - convenient for all the places we wanted to visit.

The common areas are much nicer and up to date than the single room.
