 Right in the middle of Vienna, just a few minutes walk from the famous Ringstrasse, the historic Hotel Kugel reflects the charm of Old Vienna.  Public transports will bring you right in front of the Hotel, and from the Hotel you can reach most of the scenic sights including Schoenbrunn and Belvedere castle in less than 20 minutes.
History starts right at the doorstep. Michael Zierer, the famous composer was born one house away, and less than 2 minutes walking bring you to the former workshop of Siegfried Marcus, where the world's very first motorcar was built.

 Strauss Father lived just one block away, and Adlerhof, Vienna's longest walk through house, was stage for a many movies. Many of our guests come back year after year, always exploring a different part of our neighborhood and Vienna. Our staff is utmost happy to show routes and tours "off the book" for the interested ones. |
 And the food! All of Siebensterngasse and the Spittelberg Artist Quarter is full of pubs and inns and restaurants from hip to very traditional, and the scene at the MQ is a class in itself. But do not forget to book a Thursday-dinner under the Grand Cupola of the Museum for History of Arts - you will be stunned, not only from the meal, but from the sight you will have from there at Vienna at night - well, Vienna's grand historic center to be correct.
