Facilities within the Property

Our 24 hour on duty reception is utmost glad to help you planning a trip or book a tour or to guide you through the city's traffic. Parking in the center of Vienna is quite tricky, but the good angel in the reception always helps. We also provide non smoking rooms, but there are also a few islands reserved for the ones not following main stream.

Additional facilities are a bar, parking tickets (for the inner circle of Vienna) garage, fax service, elevator,
tour booking, city guide, car and bicycle rental.

Across the street there are a gym, a hairdresser, newsagent, groceries, supermarkets, 3 banks, post office, sauna and fitness in the Stadthalle`s oympic-size swimming pool, bookshops - you name it.

The tram stop is right in front of the doorsteps of the Kugel. But no matter if you manage to
reach Schönbrunn castle in 15 minutes or in 16 - its the old fashioned way to walk that makes our location so unique. Just stroll down our street, pass by the unique mixture of a little bit modern and a lot of beautiful restored old, pass by the buildings of 17th and 18th century and the small cobblestone streets with lanterns, well, now - jump into 21st century`s Museum quarter, cross this cool mixture of concrete and art, keep on walking all the way until you stop at the walls of the Imperial Palace, the Hofburg, preferably close to the Conference Center entrance, and turn around. Look, where you passed by during your quick walk, and be guaranteed, heaven will touch you.

Vienna's largest and most important shopping street,
Mariahilfer Straße, is just a few minutes walking away. Neubaugasse, also a shopping area, is just round the corner. The Museum Quarter with it's collections, the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Arts are less than 10 minutes walking or just 2 stops with the trolley.

There are
restaurants all the way along Siebensterngasse, so we give it a maximum of 5 minutes to reach one. The Opera can be reached within 20-25 minutes walking, 10 minutes by trolley. Subway U3 brings you within 3 minutes downtown, or in summer, in 10 minutes to the recreational area of Danube Island, for grilling, swimming, sailing, biking, hiking, hanging around, fishing, dancing - well they have some dancefloors there!

Back to winter,
Burgtheater and Vienna's city hall, the Rathaus, frame a fantastic ice skating arena, the largest one in Europe, and an easy stroll from the Kugel. Well, to be honest - we easily could continue to write a long, long list of what you easily can reach from the Kugel, but we want to make it short - with our advice and a map, within a few minutes (Ok, 15-20) almost everything. We suggest you visit the difference between "almost" and "everything" at your next stay.
