By plane:
Coming from the airport, the city air terminal bus will take you to the city centre/Westbahnhof in about 20 minutes. Departures every 20 minutes. Tram 52 direction Baumgartner Spitz to Ameisgasse, where you will find the Hotel Kavalier. The Schnellbahn S7 (train) will take you to Wien Südbahnhof in 40 minutes. There you take tram 18, direction Burggasse/Stadthalle, to Westbahnhof. Change to tram 52 direction Baumgartner Spitz to Ameisgasse, where you will find the Hotel Kavalier.
By train:
From Westbahnhof: take the tram 52, direction Baumgartner Spitz to Ameisgasse, where you will find the Hotel Kavalier.
From Südbahnhof: take the tram 18, direction Burggasse/Stadthalle to Westbahnhof. Then, take the tram 52 direction Baumgartner Spitz to Ameisgasse, where you will find the Hotel Kavalier.
By car:
Coming from airport, Bratislava, Budapes: take highway A4 direction Vienna and exit A4 direction Graz/Linz. Continue along Südosttangente, A23 until exit Altmannsdorf/Wiental. Keep right, direction Linz/Schönbrunn and continue along Altmannsdorfer Strasse which becomes Grünberg Strasse.
Turn left at traffic light, direction Salzburg/Linz; follow Linke Wienzeile until you see the Palace of Schönbrunn on the left. Turn right at traffic light into Schlossallee, before the underpass keep left. Turn left into Linzer Strasse.
Coming from Germany via Salzburg: take highway A1 direction Zentrum. Continue along Wiental Strasse and at the first opportunity turn left and cross the Wienfluss. Go straight on into Bergmiller Strasse and at the next large crossing, turn right into Linzer Strasse.
Coming from Klagenfurt, Graz: take highway A2, direction Altmannsdorf-Wiental. Keep right direction Linz/Schönbrunn, continue along Altmannsdorfer Strasse which becomes Grünberg Strasse. Turn left at traffic light, direction Salzburg-Linz, follow Linke Wienzeile until you see the Palace of Schönbrunn on the left. Turn right at traffic light into Schlossallee, before the underpass keep left. Turn left into Linzer Strasse.
Coming from Prague: take highway A22 direction Zentrum until exit 7. Cross the Nordbrücke and continue straight on Nussdorfer Lände, Heiligenstädter Lände. Exit direction Gürtel, follow the Gürtel, until Neubaugürtel, pass the west railway station (Westbahnhof) and immediately turn right into Felberstrasse, which becomes Linzer Strasse. |
