By Plane
Arcotel Boltzmann is located 32 kilometres from Vienna International Airport, a terminal that welcomes regular flights from dozens of cities in Europe on a daily basis. On your arrival, you may take a shuttle bus, a City Airport train or the metropolitan railway to reach the centre of the city.
By Car
If you rent a car at the airport in Vienna, take your left at B9 motorway and once again in A4/E58, driving towards "Wien" (Vienna). Close to Knoten Prater,
continue along A23/E59 in direction "Praha". Take the A22 towards "Klosterneuburg/ B14/ Nordbrücke" and you will arrive in Vienna, where you must go along Donaukanal-Bundesstrabe, B221 / Wiener Gürtel-Bundesstraße and finally turn left in Währinger Strabe. Take your left again into Sensengasse street and continue along Boltzmanngasse, where the hotel comes into view on number 8. (This journey takes around 30 minutes).
By Train
At the airport in Vienna, you can take the Shuttle bus to West-Bahnhof station, get on tram number 5 and descend at the stop known as "Währinger Strabe, Spitalgasse". As you walk to the hotel, turn right into Währinger Strabe, take the following street on the left, Strudholfgasse, and finally right at the next corner, Boltzmanngasse. Bear in mind that the airport shuttle bus leaves every 20 minutes towards the city centre.
Meanwhile, the City Airport Train, also known as "CAT", reaches the City Air Terminal placed inside the Wien-Mitte railway station. This service works every half an hour and takes 16 minutes to get to the centre of Vienna. Once at Wien-Mitte, get on underground line U3 (direction "Ottakring"), descend at Volkstheater and change to line U2 (towards "Schottenring"). Get off at Schottentor-Universität (the stop at the University) and take the tram (lines 37, 38, 40, 41 or 42) up to the second stop, known as Spitalgasse. Then follow the indications already described. |
